This film took a real event in history and distorted and changed it to fit their own agenda. To claim it was based on true events is grasping at straws. Also, their take on Preston's history is blatantly sensationalized. Anna Corbin was a real person, her murder was brutal and the man who killed her got away with it. The Superintendent or "Warden" did not kill Anna Corbin, it was a ward, Eugene Monroe, from the school who had been suspected of killing another young woman in 1947, then in 1950 Anna was murdered while he was at Preston on cleaning detail just yards away from Anna's office. Although he was acquitted, he went on to murder again, this time in Tulsa, the victim being a pregnant dance instructor. He went to prison for 29 years for that crime. The filmmakers had no right to take Anna's story and change it, or to make her out to be a vindictive ghost when that is not the case. They have dishonored the dead who walked the halls of Preston. Just like in the movie the Conjuring, the name and story of a defenseless woman has been sullied and slandered with no way to speak for herself to tell the world that their telling of her story is false. This is not a true story, this is a work of complete fiction and slander.

I dont know if im tripping or what. But just the other day my brother asked me if i remebered if the Monopoly man had a monocle. And i replied yes, becasuse i wholeheartedly remembered and believed he did. So when he told me he never did and even showed me our old monopoly game and he didnt have one, i was honestly shocked and couldnt believe it beacuse i could vividly remember him having one. And when i would look at pictures on google of the monopoly man without a monocle he looked naked to me. Now forward 2 days later, i was just laying in my bed watching videos about the Mandela effect and just thinking about the monopoly man and his monocle. And the more i thought about it, my memories in my head actually never remembered him having a monocle at all and it honestly shocked me. Like i remember just two days ago that i was honestly shocked when i found out he didnt have a monocle and now im actually believing he didnt. The more and more i thought about it i didnt actually remember him having one. It was like my mind broke out of some weird hypnosis trance that night or something happend to my mind that i can't explain. I know i didnt mix him up for anyone else like the peanut man because i have never seen or heard of him in my life. If there is anyone who can explain or have an idea of what happend, please say so. Btw even though i dont remember him having a monocle, i still believe he did. As there is lots of evidence and it cant be a coincidence that mostly everyone remembers him having a monocle. Also i read many comments of people saying that there was a bank error card that used to have mr monopoly and his monocle would fly off.

At times I felt a bit uncomfortable due to the horrible situations you'll will witness at this once boys reform school, but it adds to the overall mood and works well.
